Absolutely. That's exactly what we do best. We start with a short conversation about who you are, what you love and what you don't, and from there we propose a destination (or three) that fits you. No pressure, no obligation.

How do you handle pricing and costs?

We're fully transparent. We want to pick the right destination and hotels for you in complete freedom — without depending on commissions. That's why we charge a flat fee of €165 per travel day. You can be sure we design your trip on its merits, not on whichever hotel, destination or activity pays the most commission. And if we ever receive a discount or commission from a hotel or activity, we pass it directly on to you.

When do we pay the fee?

Only when you book. We'll happily put the trip together for you first, so you can decide in your own time and without any pressure.

How long are the trips you design?

Most of our escapes run between 3 and 5 days. They're built to fit between two work weeks — short enough to take more often, long enough to actually disconnect.

Is this only for couples?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. We design trips for couples, best friends, and pairs of friends travelling together. Anything that's a small, well-matched group of two (or four).

Do you handle bookings and flights?

Yes — once we've shaped the trip together, we take care of the accommodation, transport, key activities and a clear day-by-day itinerary. You just have to show up.

What if we want to change something during the trip?

We're reachable throughout your trip if anything comes up — a missed train, a change of plans, or just a tip for the evening. We don't disappear once you leave.

What if we need to cancel?

You'll find our full cancellation terms in the Fine Print at the bottom of the page. In short, we always try to be reasonable: if something is refundable from a hotel or supplier, we pass that on to you. Different terms apply to our own planning fee.

What if the weather lets us down?

Every day on holiday is an adventure in itself. There's usually plenty to do nearby, even when the weather isn't perfect, and before you leave we're happy to share a handful of tips. So you can head off without a worry.

Can we travel with four people?

Of course. Many of our trips are designed for two, but they work just as well for two couples or a pair of friends. We'll simply look for rooms, tables and activities that suit a group of four.

Question 11

How far in advance should we book?

Accepted Answer

The earlier the better, especially for destinations with limited accommodation. For summer trips, two to three months ahead is ideal. But don't hesitate to ask for a last-minute plan — sometimes we can pull off a beautiful escape with just a few weeks' notice.
